The First Two Weeks

We are in utter disbelief that we have already been home with the girls for a week- how fast time flies!  The days have been busy with feedings, awake time, tummy time, walks, and sleep time.  Amongst the busyness of the routine, we have just been in awe of how drenched with joy and blessings our days have been since the girls have become part of our lives.  They are both doing fantastic.  They had their first pediatrician visit last Thursday and both girls are back to birth weight and got an A+ at their visit.  They are both feeding well and gaining weight- which is such a relief!  As the days go by we are in complete amazement of how different they already are and how their individual personalities are shining through at such a young age!  We are enjoying time just getting to know them.  Adelyn is very inquisitive about the world around her and after feedings will be up for quite awhile just calmly soaking in her surroundings.  She is constantly making funny expressions and cracks mommy and daddy up on a daily basis.  McKenna is truly a little sweetheart who loves to cuddle up and is so calm and peaceful- (except when her diaper is dirty- but who wouldn't complain about that!)  Overall we are all doing well and enjoying this special time as family.  Thanks for all the love, support and prayers- we are so appreciative.
